Grief and Joy at the Same Time

Sorry for the absence this week. At 87 years old, just 15 days shy of her 88th birthday, my beautiful Grandma passed away on Saturday afternoon. I've been visiting my parents, and will remain here the rest of the week. 

We are all sad, but thankful at the same time. Grandma was in pain, and was not happy the last few months of her life. She has now joined the love of her life (who passed in 1987) and her beautiful daughter who passed last year. I keep picturing my Great Uncles, my Aunt, and my Grandpa playing poker, and my Grandma making sure they have lots of food.
