5 on Friday

Today I'm linking up for some good old 5 on Friday!

1. I'm SO thankful it's Friday. Is it just me or did this week back at work DRAG out?! I know I had Wednesday off, but after 10 days without having to wake up to an alarm clock, this week has rocked my world. Hopefully I will be back in the swing of things next week.

2. I like wintertime - I LOVE snow, and I figure if it's going to be cold, bring on the snow! Well living in Central Ohio is totally different than living in Northern Ohio. Not as much snow by far, but boy oh boy we have the cold. Even for me -1* when I wake up is TOO cold. I will be enjoying my fireplace this weekend, and may not leave the house at all!

3. While I'm hibernating in my house this weekend, I WILL get all of the Christmas decor put away, and freshen up my house for the new year. Everything in my great room is so BLAH. I need some new art on the wall or something. New mantle decor maybe. Either way, I'm going to make my great room bright and cherry for the new year and hope that keeps me motivated to stay off the couch and read a book every evening. Expect some before and after's next week.

4. My Buckeyes play tonight - I can't wait for the game. Hopefully we show up (unlike our Big 10 Championship game) and lay it all out there. It's always bittersweet watching the bowl game, knowing this will be the last Buckeye Football game until next fall. Of course, I'm going to have to take a nap after work to ensure I will stay awake for the entire game.

5. And I'm finally ready to make me better. I am going to participate in the "Jillian in January" challenge that HollyMelanieKimmy and Jenn are hosting on instagram. I'm not sure I will be posting much of my information, as I have never done anything like this before, but I'm hoping it will help keep me accountable. Go check out Holly's blog for more information!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

  1. And clearly I'm really good at this blogging thing. Add to things to do this weekend: figure out how to post pictures properly, and learn how to make the links I put in the blog stand out!
